Haroff Auction & Realty, Inc. has been involved
in the real estate auction business since 1990. Haroff Auction & Realty,
Inc. was awarded its first municipal contract to auction tax foreclosed
properties for Essex County in 1991. Since that first multi property
real estate auction in 1991, Haroff Auction & Realty, Inc.
has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in the foreclosure
process along with the marketing and sale of tax foreclosed properties.
During the past two years we conducted multi-property real
estate auctions for the Counties of Chemung, Clinton, Cortland,
Dutchess, Essex, Franklin, Fulton, Greene, Lewis, Montgomery
and Sullivan.
A total of 1,938 tax-foreclosed properties were sold during this
two year period and returned to the tax rolls for these municipalities
using the auction method of marketing.
Haroff Auction & Realty, Inc., has continually held the
Essex County contract since 1991, and is presently contracted
with Essex County through the year 2007.
Our friendly and professional approach towards the real estate
business helped our company grow from selling 42 properties in
1991 to selling 1,636 properties in 2002 and 928 properties in
2003. Our computerized mailing list is growing on a daily basis
with people calling in on our toll free 800 number and joining
our e-mail list from all areas requesting to receive copies of
our auction brochures.
Our peers in the auction industry have also recognized Haroff
Auction & Realty, Inc. At the 1995 New York State Auctioneers
